NEW FORMAT! (Mens E & Coed E Only)

In 2016, in an effort to create a more equal playing field, SPO introduced a new format for its Coed E Provincial Championships. Teams played a round-robin and were then seeded into different divisions based on their round-robin record. Teams then played for a Provincial Championship in that division. We had four 2016 Provincial Champions in Coed E in separate Platimum, Gold, Silver and Bronze divisions!

Then, in 2017, we added the same format in Mens E! AND THEY ARE BOTH BACK FOR 2018!

  • Self-Seeding Format

  • Guaranteed 4 Games

  • More Prizing

  • MAXIMUM 48 TEAMS TO BE ACCEPTED IN EACH DIVISION

Teams will be put into groups of 4 for round-robin play.  |  After round-robin play, teams will be placed in divisions based on their round-robin records.  |  All 1st place teams in the groups after thr round-robin will compete against each other. Similarly, all 2nd, 3rd and 4th place teams will play against each of the others with the same placing.  |  Teams will then compete for a division Provincial Championship, with our full Award Package in each division!

Teams wanting to play more competitively should play in the D division. There will be no prize money in the E dvision. Prizes will be awarded to the top 3 or 4 teams in all of the E groups (based on 48 teams). SPO reserves the right to modify the divisions based on the participating number of teams.
