Slo-Pitch Ontario continues to monitor the very fluid COVID-19 Coronavirus outbreak situation and is endeavouring to respond as best we can to the Declaration of Emergency declared by the Government of Ontario.
We remain committed to the well-being and safety of all of our Members, and we are available to assist you in any way possible with your local slo-pitch program(s). Some answers we can readily provide. Any question that we do not have the answer to, we will seek to respond to you as soon as we can ascertain the proper information you need.
Our online registration system remains open 24/7. While our office will be closed, our Staff will continue to be working remotely and are actively preparing for the upcoming season, so that we are ready as soon as it is safe to resume activities.
Our call-in registration option is suspended at present, but we are happy to assist by email. Just as easy, just as quick, same great service! And if a phone call is needed, we will contact by phone, just not from the SPO office.
All emails will be responded to as quickly as possible.
Certificates of Insurance can be issued for you to provide to municipalities in order to secure diamonds and fields for the season but, at present, coverage for you and your players will only be in effect once the league starts its schedule.
Should you register your league and the commencement of your season does not occur, you may request a refund, or have your registration carried over.
No question, these are challenging times for us all, and unprecedented. As I've stated before, I firmly believe that TOGETHER, WE WILL ALL GET THROUGH THIS.
