As CEO of Slo-Pitch Ontario, a Member Association of Softball Ontario and Softball Canada, I continue to be engaged in both telephone and video conferences almost daily with representatives from the sport of softball, various Ministers, and corporate partners in our combined effort to monitor the COVID-19 outbreak situation and to keep apprised of new developments.
At this time, we will be continuing our suspension of services for all SPO events and related activities until May 4, 2020. Accordingly, there is no insurance coverage available through this time period.
We will continue to provide updates to you as they become available.
Our online registration system remains open 24/7, and our Staff also remain available to assist with registration of leagues, teams and players. They are continuing to work remotely so that our Association will be ready to proceed with operations when permitted.
The health, safety and well-being of all of our Members, Staff and Volunteers, and their loved ones, remains a top priority for our Association.
